I was given a privilege to be part of a wonderful project called “Maui’s Perfection Collaboration Project.” It is organized by a man named Hai Dai in partnership with Tashi Pendey Foundation and Other Friday (internationally recognized youth’s new media program). His vision is to collaborate with artists on Maui to create a film that encourages people to express themselves and to supports children and Tibetans in refuge.
On his web-site, he states, “Many thanks for your support in joining us in helping children and Tibetans in refuge in the preservations of our human rights and to help preserve for posterity "our rites of passage" with our freedom of expressions! Whether you are a performance artists, musician, artists and alike and feel that you have a creative expression that you would like to add to our ‘Perfection Gallery’ to share with the Tibetan children in refuge and the world abroad our presentation of the 10 perfections via our creative expressions.”
The ten perfections are:
1. Generosity, giving (dana)
2. Morality (sila)
3. Renunciation (nekkhamma)
4. Wisdom (panna)
5. Energy (viriya)
6. Patience (khanti)
7. Truthfulness (sacca)
8. Determination (adhitthana)
9. Loving-kindness (metta)
10. Equanimity (upekkha)
Yesterday, Hai Dai filmed Izanai Yosakoi dance. I wish I could have danced with other Izanai dancers, but the Japanese dancers were not here, and there was no time to contact few Maui dancers since it sort of came up at the last minute, so I danced alone but with everybody in my heart. I told Hai Dai that the Izanai Yosakoi would be closest to perfections of Joy and Energy, so he suggested that it is Joyous Effort.
The film will be digitally exhibited at the Tashi Pendey Reception with HH (His Holiness) 14th Dalai Lama on April 25th at 8:30 AM (Maui Time) via live webcasting on the Internet at TashiPendey.com. Also, there will be an event and showcase at Kihei Charter School on May 6th. The fundraiser proceeds will be passed on to Tashi Pendey Foundation.

「パーフェクション コラボレーション プロジェクト」という素晴らしいプロジェクトに参加させて頂くありがたい機会を頂きました。このプロジェクトはハイダイさんという方が「タシィペンディ財団」と「グッドフライデイ」という団体（世界的にも知られている若者の新しいメディア プログラム）と協力して企画、運営しているそうです。ハイダイさんの目的はこのプロジェクトを通して、人々の芸術的表現を促進することと、そして一番は子ども達と、世界中にいるチベットの人たちをサポートするためです。
彼のウェブサイトによりますと、「難民となっているチベットの人たちの人権と表現することの自由を守るために、このプロジェクトに参加してくれてありがとうございます。ダンサーであれ、音楽家であり、芸術家であれ、皆とシェアしたい創造的な発想があれば、パーフェクションギャラリーに加えてください。」と書かれてありました。
10個のパーフェクションがあるそうです。（パーフェクションを日本語にどうやって訳していいのか分かりませんが）

昨日、ハイダイさんが「いざないよさこい」を収録しました。他の踊り子たちと一緒に踊りたかったのですが、マウイにいた日本人の踊り子は私だけで、急に浮上したプロジェクトだったものでマウイにいるマウイダンサーズたちと連絡が取れずに、一人で踊ることになってしまいました。でも心の中ではみんなと一緒に踊りました。いざないよさこいはパーフェクションの中でエネルギーとジョイに近いと思うとハイダイに言うと、じゃ、「喜びに充ちた作業」というカテゴリーになるねと言っておりました。
沢山のアーティストたちを収録した映像は、４月２５日（水）の朝８時半（マウイ時間）にタシィペンデイ財団のウェブサイト上で放映されるそうです。それから５月６日にキヘイチャーター学校にて基金募集のイベントがあるそうで、そこでも見られるそうです。全ての基金がタシィペンデイ財団に寄付されるそうです。
