New Wallet 新しい財布

I asked my parents a new wallet on my 16th birthday. It was made by Comme ca de Mode, light brown color, and I liked its simplicity. I guess I wanted something that would not look childish anymore as I entered high school.

I used the wallet for eight years.
I still like it, but it is now very dirty and getting worn out.

This year, I decided to get a new one. I requested it to my parents on my 24th birthday.

My father and I went to the central part of Matsuyama-city, and we walked around. Finally, I found one at Mitsukoshi. It is Dakota's wallet. It's wine red. It's cute, yet it has shine that a princess holds. When I found it, I went home without buying it because I could not decide the color. There were two colors. Light brown and the wine red. When I buy something new, I am not good at making decisions, so I tend to go home without buying. Then, if I keep think about it, I go back and buy it.

The next day, I was still thinking about the wallet, and I only thought of the wine red one. I knew what I wanted. I went back to the store, and I held it in my hands as if I held my loved one.

16歳の誕生日に両親に財布を買ってもらいました。Comme ca de Modeの作った財布で、淡い茶色で、私はそのシンプルさが好きでした。きっと、高校に入学したと同時に、背伸びしたかったのだろうと思います。

その財布を8年間使いました。
まだ好きです。でも、大分汚れて、すたれてきました。

今年、新しい財布を購入することにしました。24歳の誕生日に両親にリクエストしました。

父と二人で松山の中心地に行って色々な店を見てみました。やっと、これだと思えるものに三越で出会えました。Dakotaという会社が作っているものです。きれいなワインレッドの色です。かわいいのに、お姫さまが持つ輝きを静かに放っているような気品がありました。でも、買わずにその日は家に帰りました。二つの色があって（淡い茶色とワインレッド）、どちらにしようか決められなかったのです。私は何か新しい物を購入するとき優柔不断です。なので、買わずに一晩過ごしてから決めることが多いです。もし翌日でもその物を考えていて、自分の懐と相談して大丈夫そうだったらまた買いに行くのです。

その翌日のこと。私はまだあの財布のことを考えていました。そしてワインレッド色の財布のことしか考えていませんでした。自分が欲しい物が分かりました。お店に戻りました。あのワインレッドを恋人や大切な友達を抱くように手に取ったのでした。
