Today, I had a rehearsal for the upcoming show, "Random Acts Rising" at the Studio Maui from 1 to 5 pm. I also had a massage school from 8:30 am to 5 pm, so I left school at 1 pm for the rehearsal. (I hope I didn't miss much from the class.)
Last year, I danced Yosakoi, "Musuhi" made by Suga at the "Random Acts of Spring." This year, I was invited to dance with Sarala, my dear friend as well as my respectful dance teacher. I was very much excited about this great opportunity, and we started to have our practice twice a week in March.
Sarala is a professional Oddisi dancer, and I have been taking her dance class. I wrote about it in my previous blog, so please refer to it for your informaiton. We decided to bring our unique cultures into our dance piece:
Our dance piece is called, “Quest(ion).” It’s a story about a journey of a soul… I will not tell you much about it here. I hope that you can come one of the nights and make your own story.
When: Friday, 5/26 & Saturday, 5/27
Start at 7:30 pm

Who: Akari and Sarala will dance, and there will be man talented artists sharing their passion with you!

今日、The Studio Mauiで「Random Acts Rising」のリハーサルが1時から5時までありました。マッサージスクールもいつものように8時半から5時まであったので、今日は１時に早退しました。（授業内容、あんまりミスしてないといいけど。）
昨年、「Random Acts of Spring」で国友須賀の作ったムスヒを踊りました。そして今年は友達であり、踊りの先生であるSaralaと一緒に何かしないかという提案を受けました。私は、この素晴らしい機会にとっても乗り気で、私たちは３月に週に二回の練習を始めました。
Saralaはインドの踊りである「Oddisi」ダンスのプロの踊り子であり、先生でもあります。私は彼女のクラスを今取っています。そのことについて、以前のブログに書いたので、参考までに読んでみてください。
私たちの作品は「クエスト/クエスチョン」（探求）という題名で、ある魂の旅を踊りにしてみました。詳しいことはここには書かないことにしまーす。実際に観に来て頂いて、皆さん独自の物語を作ってみてください。
