Sarala and I performed in the show, "Random Acts Rising 2006" at the Studio Maui this past Friday and Saturday nights.I very much enjoyed performing there and met a lot of passionate, great artists from the show.
I would like to send my big mahalo to all the stuff who supported this show in the back of the stage. Although audience might have not noticed you, I hope that you know that without you, we, performers, could not perform, so thank you.
This year was a little different for me. I did not dance Yosakoi. Sarala and I choreographed our dance piece together, and we individually created our solo parts and gave each other feedback to make them more polished. It has been so much fun and delightful to work with Sarala. While we have a lot of responsibilities in our lives, I think that we did a good job of committing to it and communicating with each other and purely enjoying the process.
I think that I truly love to express the message in a form of art called, dance. That's what I re-discovered from this experience.

金曜日と土曜にの夜にThe Studio Mauiにて「Random Acts Rising」のショーでSaralaと踊ってきました。とっても楽しかったし、沢山の情熱的な芸術家たちにお会いすることが出来ました。
この場を借りて、このショーに関わっていたスタッフの皆さんにお礼を言いたいです。お客さんはあなたたちのことに気づいていなかったかもしれませんが、スタッフの皆様の舞台裏での協力があってこそ、私たちパフォーマーはパフォームすることが出来るわけですから。ありがとう。
今年は少し例年と違っていました。私はよさこいは踊りませんでした。（よさこいのスピリットはいつも私と一緒だけど）Saralaと一緒に振り付けをして、私たちの作品を作り上げていきました。そしてそれぞれのソロの部分は、各自で振り付けをし、お互いに意見を出し合って磨き上げていきました。Saralaとペアを組むことは、とても楽しかったです。二人とも、それぞれに色々と忙しい中、この作品を作り上げることに時間と熱意を注いできたこと、お互いにコミュ
ニケーションを取ったこと、そして単純にプロセスを楽しむことにおいて、よく出来たと思います。私は、踊りという芸術の一つを通して、メッセージを発信することがこの上なく大好きなんだなということを改めて思いました。それが、今回のショーで再発見したことです。
