A Big Truck 大きな大きなトラック

I am taking a break now - between work and a study group.
Updating my blog is kind of a nice way to take a break for me.

Here is a picture of a big, big truck.
I think that it is carrying sugar canes. I don't know...

When I saw it for the first time in dark as I drove up the Haleakala Highway, I thought that it was like a big dinosaur slowly crossing in front of me. I felt like I went into a different world for a while because I could not really see how big and long it was, and it was shined by the moon light. And, there was the only my car at the stop sign. This big creature was not even paying attention to me and was just crossing on its own pace.

Wait until you see it in dark with moon light...

I want to drive it someday.

今は休憩を取っています。仕事とクラスメイトとのスタディーグループの間の時間。
ブログを更新するのは、私にとっては良い休憩です。

ええと、これは、大きな大きなトラックの写真です。
多分、サトウキビを運んでいるんだと思います。確かではないですけど。

これを初めて見たのは、ハレアカラハイウェイを夜の闇の中、車を運転してたところでした。初め、大きな恐竜がゆっくりと私の前を渡っているのかと思いました。一瞬おとぎ話か、どこかの世界にタイムスリップしたような気持ちになりました。どれくらい大きいのか、長いのか、暗くてあまりよく見えなかったのですよ。それに、月の光に照らされていて、独特の雰囲気を漂させていました。それに、そのときは、私の車だけ信号で止まってたのですよ。誰も他には居なかった。その大きな生き物は、私に気も触れず、のそのそと自分のペースで渡っていったのでした。

皆さんも、このトラックが夜の闇の中で月光に照らされているのを見てみてください。

いつか運転してみたいな。
